Date palm has huge growth potential in the central region of the Northern Territory. Plant Industries contributed in development of the Australian Date Palm RD&E Plan (2023-2028). Following that, working with the peak dates industry, this project aims to trial a tissue culture protocol for date palms in Australian conditions.
