Improving recreational fishing

The NTRFGS aims to improve recreational fishing experiences, create new opportunities through infrastructure, support sustainable fishing practices and foster a vibrant, inclusive fishing community.

Recreational fishing is a major drawcard for visitors and contributes $144 million annually to the NT economy.
