Round 2 Agricultural Value-Add Grant now open
Round 2 of the Agricultural Value-Add Grant program is now open, with eligible Northern Territory businesses able to apply for up to $50,000 in funding to develop or expand their value-add capabilities.
The grant program provides grant funding with a minimum 50% co-contribution required from applicants to support the development or expansion of agricultural value-add capabilities, fostering growth across the NT’s agriculture, forestry and fishing industries.
Value adding has long been recognised as a key driver for increasing the value of primary products and can include a production improvements, input or logistics enhancements, marketing activities, or processing initiatives.
Applicants must be an NT primary producer and demonstrate how their project or activity will benefit the Territory’s agricultural sector.
In Round 1, more than $500,000 was awarded to 14 local businesses, with recipient co-contributions leveraging an additional $6.3 million investment in the NT’s primary industries.
Round 2 opens today, 6 October 2025 and closes 3 November 2025.
