Comprising 400,000 acres Bullo River Station is a working cattle station and luxury tourism site located 800 km south-west of Darwin and 200 km east of Kununurra.

The field day is being delivered as part of the Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA) funded EasyP project, which aims to increase adoption of phosphorus supplementation across northern Australia.

Bullo River Station is one of several EasyP producer demonstration sites which are located across northern Australian including Northern Territory, Queensland and Western Australia.

The field day will include the latest phosphorus supplementation research, sessions on bull testing and selection, pasture assessment, identification and forage budgeting, a station tour and an update on other DAF projects such as virtual fencing.

The field day aims to bring together NT cattle producers and DAF livestock teams to share knowledge, address challenges and explore future opportunities.

For more information about livestock projects, go to the Department of Agriculture and Fisheries website.
