Polyphagous shot-hole borer (PSHB)

Polyphagous shot-hole borer is a small exotic beetle that bores into tree trunks, stems, and branches and can lead to tree death. It has been detected in Western Australia (WA) and is under a national emergency plant pest response.

Import conditions now apply to PSHB carriers from WA. Find out more on the Northern Territory Government website.
