Kristy Hollis has been named the winner of the 2025 Northern Territory AgriFutures Rural Women’s Award for her project, Women’s Business: Nurture and Thrive.

Kristy’s project, Women’s Business: Nurture and Thrive aims to empower rural women through health education, collaboration and community building fostering whole-person, whole-community and whole-country healing in regional Australia.

The prestigious award was an important way to celebrate the leadership, innovation, and strength of women in rural industries across the Territory.

The 3 finalists, Barbara Clifford, Kristy Hollis and Nicole Walsh each put forward incredible projects aiming to empower women across rural and remote communities, transform rural healthcare through holistic, community-driven approaches; and provide tailored support for Territory-based small businesses seeking to scale and access international markets.

Congratulations to this year’s NT winner, Kristy Hollis, a recognised role model and mentor in the Territory and good luck at the national awards later this year.
