Barramundi Fishery Adjustment Committee

The Northern Territory Barramundi Fishery Adjustment Committee (BFAC) is established by the Minister for Agriculture and Fisheries. The Committee provides independent, expert advice on the design and implementation of structural adjustment measures associated with the cessation of commercial gillnet fishing in the NT Barramundi Fishery. The Committee will ensure that adjustment processes are transparent, equitable, cost effective and aligned with government policy objectives.
