Bird disease report – privacy collection notice

The Department of Agriculture and Fisheries (DAF) is committed to safeguarding the confidentiality and privacy of the information that it collects and handles, in accordance with the Northern Territory Information Act 2002.

The information you provide is necessary for us to investigate your report of a suspected bird disease in the Northern Territory, and to contact you to provide updates on your report. This information is being collected under the Livestock Act 2008.

The information you provide will be accessible to DAF and will only be used to conduct relevant investigations. We will not disclose your personal information to third parties unless:

• authorised or required by law to do so
• you have given us your consent to share your personal information for a specific purpose.
