Library services

The Northern Territory  Department of Agriculture and Fisheries operates 2 libraries, at Berrimah Farm in Darwin and at the Arid Zone Research Institute in Alice Springs.

Opening hours: 8:15am to 4.20pm Monday to Friday. Closed public holidays.

Library services are provided primarily for the staff of the department and its industry clients. See contact information below.

The 2 libraries take inter-library loan requests from other libraries.

Most library material is available for loan through the inter-library loan system. The public must place requests via their own local libraries. Industry clients in Darwin and Alice Springs may register to borrow material directly from the department’s libraries.
